IAPP Global Privacy Summit 2024

The International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) will host the Global Privacy Summit in Washington, United States of America, on 3 and 4 April 2024. The event will be preceded by a training on 1-2 April and an active learning day on 2 April.

IAPP gathers the privacy professionals community to network, provide education opportunities, discuss critical updates from the who’s-who of the field and discover new solutions and best practices. The active learning component will be in the form of a collaborative, roundtable-style workshop on the day before the leading conference. The Summit agenda features more than 15 AI-themed sessions. A special track, the EU AI Act Comprehensive, focuses on explaining the sprawling new law’s provisions and risks how to comply when it goes into effect, and more.

The summit offers a venue to discuss a variety of topics, including international data transfers; privacy operations management, global legislative updates, children’s privacy, etc.
