Czech DPA received reports of more than 100 data breaches in 2020
According to the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Czech Republic received more than 100 reported data breaches in the five first months of the year, primarily in the areas of finance, health care and public administration. Phishing attacks on computer systems were the most frequent reports, with a ‘significant’ number of breaches caused by ‘insufficient education and training.’
