Digital Media Days 2022

After two years of virtual gathering, this year’s Digital Media Days will be held in person in Istanbul, Turkey. Organized by EBU Media Department, particularly its TV and Digital Committee, it will focus primarily on critical challenges and opportunities for public service media in 2022, presenting and exploring significant trends in distribution, content, and innovation.

Some of the topics discussed are going to be how to reach young audiences with more traditional media, the need for better advocacy of public service broadcasting, the position of public-service media within the future media landscape, as well as independence of journalists and journalism in Europe and how it can be improved.
