EAGE (European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers) is a multi-disciplinary professional association for geoscientists and engineers. Every year, it organizes many conferences, exhibitions, and lecture tours for geoscience engineers and professionals. The largest of these events is the EAGE Annual Conference and Exhibition, attracting almost 6,000 visitors from all over the world.

Held under the theme “Leading Geosciences into a New Era”, through its diverse programme, it will address various challenges Energy and Technology sectors have to face, emphasizing the change they are going through and how it affects everyone.

For its 83rd edition, it will focus on:

  • the way the pandemic affected Energy and Technology sector on a global scale (especially the Energy sector that was already going through a transformation)
  • how to tackle climate change and its influence on the industries
  • what are the best ways to regulate fluctuations in energy demand and prices, all the while striving for a solution that would ensure a sustainable transition that guarantees a vital energy supply for all

Technical sessions, forum sessions on technical development, student activities and interactive community present an ideal platform for networking and further development.
