UN OEWG 2021-2025 4th substantive session

The UN Open-Ended Working Group (OEWG) will hold its fourth substantive session from 6th to 10th March 2023 in New York, the USA. Deeper discussions on the points of contact (PoC) directory are expected.

The OEWG is tasked with studying existing and potential threats to information security and possible confidence-building measures and capacity development. It should also further develop rules, norms, and principles of responsible behaviour of states, discuss ways of implementing them and explore the possibility of establishing regular open-ended institutional dialogue under the auspices of the UN.
