World Intellectual Property Day 2023

World Intellectual Property Day will take place on 26 April 2023 under the theme Women and IP: Accelerating innovation and creativity. This year’s theme celebrates the ‘can do’ attitude of women inventors, creators and entrepreneurs worldwide and their ground-breaking work. The events seek to inform about the role of women in the intellectual property rights (IPR) ecosystem and to encourage innovation and broader participation of women in IPR.

World Intellectual Property Day takes place every year on 26 April. It was established by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in 2000 with an aim to raise awareness about patents, copyright, and trademarks.
