IEEE World Forum on Internet of Things
The 3rd World Forum in Internet of Things (WF-IoT), organised by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), will take place on 12-14 December 2016, in Reston, USA.
WF-IoT 2016 will bring together industry leaders, academics, and decision making government officials, among others, to examine key critical innovations across technologies which will alter the research and application space for the future.
Under the overarching theme ‘IoT: Smart Innovation for Vibrant Ecosystems’, the forum will feature discussions on topics such as: IPv6-based IoT deployment; the web of things; IoT enabling technologies; IoT and cloud and web services; IoT security and privacy; IoT standardisation; IoT and low power wide area networks; IoT impacts on education and industrial training; and best practices in industrial IoT cybersecurity.
