Spectrum Future 2016
The 2016 edition of the Spectrum Future conference will be held on 19-21 October, in Singapore. The event is organised by the Pacific Telecommunications Council, and it will be dedicated to discussions on latest development in spectrum trends and platforms for Internet access across the South and Southeast Asia.
Specific topics to be addressed during the conference include: key issues preventing wider access to Internet across the region; the status of access in developed, mid-tier, and developing nations; best practices from most developd and fast developing nations; new platforms for Internet access; modalities for creating capacity (shared spectrum, new platforms, 4G, 5G, etc.); Wi-Fi and unlicensed spectrum; Internet of Things and smart cities.
The event will bring together telecom regulatory authorities, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), application and infrastructure providers, policy advocates, and researchers.
