Event Horizon is a global summit on Blockchain technology in the energy sector. It will take place on 14-15 February in Vienna, Austria. The summit will gather leading energy & blockchain experts to discuss and develop new energy solutions and foster innovation.

The event will try to adress following questions:

  • How can blockchain and smart contracts be used in the energy sector?
  • What are the regulatory challenges and how can blockchain help?
  • How can industry leaders and entrepreneurs leverage blockchain technology?

The event is suported by goverment of Austria, EFRE (Der Europäische Fonds für Regionale Entwicklung ), Microsoft, German Energy Agency and the Rocky Mountain Institute.
