Global Internet and Jurisdiction Conference 2018
The second Global Internet and Jurisdiction Conference of the Internet & Jurisdiction Policy Network will take place on 26–28 February 2018, in Ottawa, Canada.
The event will bring together around 300 senior-level representatives from governments, the world’s largest Internet companies, technical operators, civil society groups, top universities, and international organisations, to address the future of jurisdiction on the cross-border Internet and discuss concrete policy options and modalities for joint action.
The Conference of the Internet & Jurisdiction Policy Network has received broad institutional support by the Government of Canada, as well as from the Organsation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the Council of Europe, the European Commission, and the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).
