WIPO-University of Geneva Summer School on Intellectual Property
The University of Geneva and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) will host a Summer School on Intellectual Property, on 25 June – 6 July 2018, in Geneva, Switzerland.
The aim of the school is to offer graduate and postgraduate students and young professionals an opportunity to acquire deeper knowlwdge of intellectual property and its potential role as a tool for economic, social, cultural, and technnological developments. Participants will also be introduced to the role WIPO plays in the global administration of intellectual property.
The programme will cover the main areas of intellectual property, including copyright, trademarks, designs, and patent law. Lectures will be delivered by intellectual property experts at WIPO, the University of Geneva, and other institutions.
Participation is open to students in any field of study or discipline, from law to economics.
