The meeting will be structured as follows: an opening address by the Secretary‑General, followed by three interactive ‘Davos-style’ panel discussions with heads of state and government, CEOs in the area of private finance, and technological innovators to address: aligning global financial and economic policies with the 2030 Agenda, to spur political momentum to foster the mobilisation of resources; enhancing sustainable financing strategies and mobilising private investment for sustainable development; and fintech efforts to advance financial inclusion on the ground, with the aim of seizing the potential of financial innovations, new technologies and digitalisation to provide equitable access to finance.
