The Africa Internet Summit (AIS) is an annual, regional, multistakeholder ICT conference featuring contributions of key players in the Internet industry. It is a platform where key actors can interact with the global Internet community during seminars, workshops, tutorials, conference and birds-of-a-feather (BOFs) sessions, and other forums. AIS aims to share ICT knowledge within the African region, on the following topics:

  • spans mobile networking
  • applications
  • cybersecurity
  • cyberlaws
  • Internet governance
  • ICT for development
  • research
  • civil and information society issues
  • African ICT success stories

The 2019 edition of the AIS will take place in Kampala, Uganda, on 9-21 June.
