The eWeek of Online Events: Dialogues, Webinars and Meetings is organised by the United Nations Commission on Trade and Development’s (UNCTAD) and it will take place throughout the scheduled eCommerce Week 27 April-1 May. A team of GIP rapporteurs provided reports from the sessions.
The eWeek of Online Events: Dialogues, Webinars and Meetings is organised by the United Nations Commission on Trade and Development’s (UNCTAD) and it will take place throughout the scheduled eCommerce Week 27 April-1 May, as the eCommerce Week has been cancelled in light of the development of the COVID-19 virus situation.
The event will explore how the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting lives and economies and what policy solutions will be needed to sustain long-term structural changes. Digital ‘real-time economies,’ consumer protection, data ownership and intellectual property, and cybersecurity and privacy will also be discussed.
