Event announcement
The 4th edition of CyFy: The India Conference on Cyber Security and Internet Governance will take place on 28-30 September, in New Delhi.
The theme for CyFy 2016 is ‘Digital Asia: Scripting the New Governance Order’. The event will explore the ideal of a global digital governance regime, and will discuss, among others, whether regional regimes are ‘fragmentaing’ the Internet, replacing its unified technical architecture with political boundaries. CyFy 2016 will also highlight the role of technology in creating and destroying global cyber regimes, and will examine the role of non-state actors in cyberspace.
The programme of the conference will include panels, roundtables, and interactive sessions covering five main areas: digital economy, international engagement, security, access and inclusion, and capacity building.
CyFy is organised by the Observer Research Foundation, with support from a number of other entities.
