>> About IGF 2020
Held entirely online, the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) 2020 discussed four main thematic tracks (Data, Environment, Inclusion, and Trust) under the overarching theme ‘Internet for human resilience and solidarity’. The meeting was organised in two phases:
- Phase I (2–6 Nov): This phase included pre-events, newcomers sessions, thematic introductory sessions, open forums (OFs), national and regional IGF initiatives (NRIs), and dynamic coalition (DC) sessions.
- Phase II (9–17 Nov): Considered the ‘official’ part of IGF 2020, this phase included the main sessions, a high-level leader’s track, a parliamentary round table, main workshops, and concluding sessions.
