52nd session of the Human Rights Council
The 52nd regular session of the Human Rights Council (UNHRC) will take place from 27 February to 31 March 2023, at the Palais des Nations, in Geneva, Switzerland.
The Human Rights Council holds three regular sessions a year for a total of at least ten weeks. They usually take place in March (four weeks), June (three weeks) and September (three weeks). If one-third of the Member States requests so, the Human Rights Council can decide at any time to hold a special session to address human rights violations and emergencies.
During the session, high-level discussions will be held on various human rights-related issues, such as the right to education and training, gender and human rights, ensuring protection from misinformation and disinformation, etc.
