Annual Privacy Forum 2023

The Annual Privacy Forum (APF) 2023 will take place online on 1 and 2 June in Lyon, France. The APF 2023 is organised by the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA), European Commission, DG Connect, and The National Institute for Research in Digital Science and Technology (Inria).

Experts from European supervisory authorities in personal data protection will discuss how to improve the privacy and security of personal data in the online environment.

The main focus of APF 2023 is on the value of personal data in the online world and its increased utilisation over the last years as electronic products, services, and processes have permeated every fold of everyday life. Limitations in the transparency, functionality and interconnectivity of online and communication services increase the risk of having personal data processed out of the control of any accountable person or organisation or becoming exposed to all sorts of privacy threats.
