Council of Europe’s Lanzarote Committee: Call for Contributing to the Implementation Process in Monitoring the Lanzarote Convention
The Council of Europe’s Lanzarote Committee invites children to contribute their views to the implementation process in monitoring the Convention on the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse (Lanzarote Convention).
The Committee’s Secretariat has prepared guidelines to encourage child participation in the second monitoring round of the Lanzarote Convention on ‘the protection of children against sexual exploitation and sexual abuse facilitated by information and communication technologies (ICTs)’. In line with these guidelines, participation of children, as outlined in these guidelines may be carried out by state authorities, civil society organizations or any other relevant stakeholder.
