Estonian ICT Week 2016
The Estonian ICT Week, on 27 May-3 June, will bring together ICT experts, visionaries, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, government leaders and top officials as well as representatives of international organisations from all over the world in Tallinn, for a week-long series of conferences and special events.
One of the events will be an ITU Law Conference, on 28 May, which will discuss two topics with an increasing and fascinating impact on our everyday lives:
1. Unmanned Vehicles (including self-driving cars) and Internet of Things.
2. Surveillance (considering both human rights issues and our need for security) and Big Data.
The Tallinn e-Governance Conference 2015 featured many prominent speakers, including Toomas Hendrik Ilves, President of Estonia; Axelle Lemaire, French Minister for Digital Affairs; Thea Tsulukiani, Minister of Justice of Georgia; and Dmytro Shymkiv, Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of Ukraine, who is also responsible for the implementation of administrative, social and economic reforms in Ukraine.
More information about the Estonian ICT Week is available on the conference website.
