EuCNC & 6G Summit 2022
Just like last year, EuCNC 2022 (the European Conference on Networks and Communications) will be held alongside the 6G Summit. Bought are top European conferences in the area of communication networks, EuCNC is supported by the European Commission, and the 6G Summit originates from the 6G Flagship programme in Finland.
After two years of online meetings due to the global pandemic, this year’s conference will be held bought virtually and in the city of Grenoble known internationally as a leading hub for microelectronics and digital technologies. This way the organizers wanted to highlight the importance of semiconductor technologies and applications for European technological sovereignty and cybersecurity, something that can also be seen in the European Chips Act recently proposed by the Commission.
Telecommunications will be at the forefront of discussion, from 5G deployment and mobile IoT to 6G exploration.
Future communications systems will be considered and tested through experimentation and testbeds, with over 1500 delegates, researchers, and stakeholders from more than 40 countries participating. Innovations in the field of applications and services will also be presented. All of this should provide a basis for a human-centric Next-Generation Internet while taking into consideration Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) such as accessibility and affordability of technology.
