Europe Code Week – 2016
Europe Code Week 2016 will take place on 15-23 October 2016.
The initiative, which was launched in 2013 by the Young Advisors for the Digital Agenda Europe, aims to bring coding and digital literacy to everyboy in a fun and engaging way. The idea is to make programming more visible, to show young, adults and elderly how to bring ideas to life with code, to demystify these skills, and bring people together to learn.
The Code Week is run by volunteers. One or sereval Code Week Ambassadors coordinate the initiative in their countries, but everyone interested is welcome to organise their own code event and add it to the events map. A toolkit for organisers is available for those who want to join the initiative.
