ILO100: Law for Social Justice
On the occasion of the International Labour Organization’s (ILO) centenary, the Office of the Legal Adviser is organising an international conference entitled ‘ILO100: Law for Social Justice’ on 15-17 April at the ILO headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. The three day-long event will focus on the following thematic areas:
- Philosophy of law, human rights
- Public international law
- Law of international organisations
The speakers will be composed of judges of the International Court of Justice, members of the International Law Commission, leading scholars, and legal practitioners from other international organisations, with the aim of reflecting on and discussing current issues of legal theory and practice affecting international institutions.
