International Conference on Cyber Conflict 2018
The tenth edition of the International Conference on Cyber onflict (CyCon X) of the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence (CCDCoE) will be held from 30 May to 1 June 2018 in Tallinn, Estonia.
Under the theme ‘Maximising Effects’, CyCon X will adress the importance of maximising effects in the cyber realm in the age of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, big data, and the development of legal frameworks and policies in the face of new instabilities and vulnerabilities. CyCon X will bring together more than 500 decision makers, opinion leaders, legal professionals and technology experts from governments, militaries, academia, and industry of 50 countries.
The two-and-a-half day event features workshops, keynotes, and panel discussions, and will address, inter alia:
- Cyber education and training
- Social media and cybersecurity
- Cyber espionage and international law
- AI
- The potential of open source intelligence
