Internet Engineering Task Force meeting (IETF 119)
The Internet Engineering Task Force meeting (IETF 119) is scheduled to take place on March 16-22, 2024. in Brisbane, Australia and online.
The IETF is an internet standards body that develops open standards through open processes. As a large open international community of network designers, operators, vendors, and researchers, the IETF is concerned with the evolution of the internet architecture and the smooth operation of the global internet. The technical work of the IETF is done in working groups, organised by topic into several areas. The IETF holds meetings three times a year. The event will feature a code sprint hackathon, social events, host speaker series and public side meetings.
The IETF Hackathon and IETF Codesprint will take place on the weekend. Events to help new participants get the most out of IETF meetings begin on Sunday afternoon.
