The Internet Governance Forum USA 2016
The Internet Governance Forum USA (IGF-USA) will take place on 14 July 2016 in Washington DC at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). The IGF-USA is a multistakeholder effort to illuminate issues and cultivate constructive discussions about the future of the Internet. It provides a domestic forum to engage civil society, government, technologists, research scientists, industry and academia in the US, helping to create partnerships, coalitions and dialogues that demonstrate best practices and help move policy forward.
This year’s IGF-USA will feature panels, keynotes, and plenaries, discussing issues vital to the continued growth of the Internet and increasing its benefits for all. Among others, IGF-USA 2016 will be host to interactive sessions on issues including the IANA transition, access, human rights online, privacy, security, and trade transparency.
