MAPPING Final General Assembly
The final General Assembly of the MAPPING project will take place on 12–14 February 2018, in Malta. The event will be organised with the local support of the University of Malta, general support of the University of Groningen as MAPPING´s overall coordinator, and EPMA as the project’s dissemination partner.
The aim of the Assembly is to contributie to the creation of an enabling framework for the digital transition and improvement of the global governance structure as well as the EU innovation ecosystem. It will feature debates on topics that MAPPING has dealt with. And it is also expected to include a discussion on a MAPPING draft legal instrument on surveillance, developed in the framework of the project.
MAPPING (Managing Alternatives for Privacy, Property and Internet Governance) is a project co-financed by the 7th Framework Programme of the European Commission. Its goal is to create an all-round and common understanding of the many and varied economic, social, legal, and ethical aspects of the recent developments on the Internet, and their consequences for the individual and society at large.
