RIPE 74
The RIPE 74 meeting will take place on 8-12 May 2017, in Budapest, Hungary.
The five-day event will bring together Internet service providers, network operators and other interested parties from around the world to discuss about policies and procedures used by RIPE NCC to allocate Internet number resources, and to share experiences, latest development and best common practices. The agenda of the meeting will also include RIPE working group sessions, where current technical and policy issues will be discussed in more detail.
Some of the topics to be addressed at the meeting include IPv4 scarcity and IPv6 deployment, data centre technologies, Domain Name System (DNS) and Internet Exchange Points (IXP) operations, Internet governance and regulatory practices, network and routing security, content delivery, Internet peering and mobile data exchange, and the Internet of Things.
