The Open-Earth-Monitor Global Workshop 2023
OpenGeoHub Foundation, in collaboration with Eurac Research, will organise the Open-Earth-Monitor Global Workshop 2023, which will be held from 04 to 06 October 2023 in Bolzano, Italy.
The Open-Earth-Monitor project is funded by the Horizon-Europe programme of the European Commission and aims to build a cyberinfrastructure adherent to the F.A.I.R principles to promote the use of environmental information and help nurture user communities around the world.
This year’s workshop theme will focus on Open Earth Observation and Machine Learning technology to support the European Green Deal, bringing together European and global actors in the field of open-source Earth Observation applications in policy, business, research and for society.
Over five days, participants will have the opportunity to attend international keynote speakers, scientific presentations, discussions, and demonstrative workshops and explore potential collaborations to enhance geospatial research and applications products in open-source.
