UNECE Working Party on Regulatory Cooperation and Standardization Policies – 26th Meeting
The Working Party on Regulatory Cooperation and Standardization Policies of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) will hold its 26th annual session between 30 November and 2 December 2016, at the Palais des Nations, in Geneva, Switzerland.
The session will include three mini-workshops on:

The implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development: what role for standards and regulatory cooperation?

Managing risks, managing development.

International regulatory cooperation: the experience of members.
The session will also discuss and possibly adopt recommendations on ‘Cooperation in Conformity Assessment’ and on ‘Import compliance: implementing product-based surveillance’. In addition, a progress report on the group’s sectoral initiative on telecom will also be presented and discussed during the session.
