Universal Acceptance Day 2024

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) is launching the second annual Universal Acceptance (UA) Day, aiming to encourage the global Internet community to adopt UA.

The flagship UA Day event will take place in Belgrade, Serbia, on 28 March, in collaboration with the Serbian National Internet Domain Registry Foundation (RNIDS) and the volunteer-led Universal Acceptance Steering Group (UASG). Additional events will be organised worldwide from March to May.

The target audiences for these sessions include technical and language communities, technology companies, governments, academia, and Domain Name System (DNS) industry stakeholders. The ultimate goal is to promote UA adoption to achieve a more multilingual and digitally inclusive Internet.
