WIPO Advanced Workshop on Domain Name Dispute Resolution: Update on Precedent and Practice

The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is hosting an Advanced Workshop on Domain Name Dispute Resolution in Geneva, Switzerland, on November 7-8, 2023.

The workshop aims to provide training on the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) to trademark owners, registrars, and ccTLD administrators. WIPO is the global leader in providing dispute resolution services under the UDRP, which provides a mechanism for resolving disputes arising from bad-faith registration and use of internet domain names corresponding to trademark rights. The workshop will focus on key developments in UDRP procedure and decision precedent and will feature experienced panellists, trademark counsel, and senior WIPO staff as faculty.
