The World Economic Forum Special Annual Meeting 2021
The World Economic Forum Special Annual Meeting 2021 in Singapore will convene as a hybrid conference, both online and in person in Singapore in the first half of 2022. Please keep an eye on this page for updates.
The meeting follows the Forum’s virtual Davos Agenda in January, which brought together world leaders from government, business and society. The Special Annual Meeting 2021 in Singapore will be the first global leadership summit to address the challenges of recovering from the pandemic and laying the basis for a more inclusive and sustainable world. It will bring leaders face-to-face to focus on shaping solutions to the most pressing challenges of our times. The meeting will address multiple issues, including the disruption of work and education as noted in the Davos Agenda:
- COVID-19 has made it challenging for vulnerable populations and marginalized groups to jobs and education.
- The Davos Agenda is focusing on solutions to ensure the future of work and societal disruption are sustainable and inclusive.
- To recover, skills gaps must be closed. The workplace needs to be more inclusive, and the health and well-being of workers is a priority
