Kansas legislature passes bill including online child sex crime in violent offender list
The Kansas legislature passed a bill, Senate Bill 366, initiated by Governor Laura Kelly, to add online child sex crimes to the violent offender list, unanimously approved in the House Committee on Corrections and Juvenile Justice as an emergency final action.
The Kansas Legislature has passed a bill to include sex crime related to minors to list of those required to register as a violent sex offender.
The Senate Bill 366 was introduced by Kansas Governor Laura Kelly and referred to the Committee on Judiciary, which was then sent to the House Committee on Corrections and Juvenile Justice, where it was passed with a unanimous emergency final action vote.
