Hyatt Hotels Corp’s payment processing system was the target of a malware attack

Hyatt Hotels Corp announced that its payment processing system was the target of a malware attack which occurred between 13 August and 8 December 2015. According to Reuters, the company identified unauthorised access to payment card data from cards used at certain Hyatt-managed location throughout the mentioned period; the number of affected cards was not disclosed.
