Thai government pressures Internet companies to remove content
The Thai government has tried to convince Facebook and Line to delete content that it presumes to be ‘harmful to peace and order’. The Thai court has ordered the removal of the content, as it would ‘[damage] the country and the monarchy.’ The government made a similar request to YouTube in January.
