Argentina signed Second Additional Protocol to the Budapest Convention
Argentina signed the Second Additional Protocol to the Budapest Convention on Cybercrime, becoming the 35th country to do so. This step aligns with Argentina’s foreign policy emphasizing international cooperation, defense, security, and human rights.
On 16 February 2023, Argentina became the 35th country to sign the Second Additional Protocol on enhanced cooperation and disclosure of electronic evidence to the Convention on Cybercrime (Budapest Convention). Argentinian authorities emphasised that the signing of the protocol reaffirms Argentina’s main foreign policy regarding international cooperation, defence, security, and promotion and protection of human rights.
