China proposes an overall plan for the construction of Digital China 2035

China issued the ‘Overall Layout Plan for the Construction of Digital China‘, which sets out the overall layout for ‘Digital China 2035’. The plan proposes that by 2035, China should reach the forefront of digital development worldwide. This is the latest policy initiative of the Chinese government in response to the current complex and difficult economic development environment.

The plan proposes to consolidate the national digital infrastructure and national data resource system, promote the deep integration of digital technology with the country’s economy, politics, culture, society and ecology in all aspects, and strengthen the digital technology innovation system and digital security.
