The Nigerian Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has received support from the World Bank and Code for Africa (CfA) to increase its use of data among a diverse group of data users. The cooperation focuses on boosting open data publication, creating a user-friendly website to make data accessible and building data use capacity for various stakeholder groups such as government and academia.
Thanks to this cooperation, a new unit was instituted within the NBS consisting of seven members who ensure data is published in the most usable format.
