Spain asked the EU to evaluate ChatGPT over privacy concerns
Spain’s data protection agency (AEPD) requested the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) to evaluate OpenAI’s, ChatGPT, in the next Plenary as privacy concerns are raised.
Spain’s data protection agency (AEPD) requested the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) to evaluate ChatGPT, over privacy concerns. AEPD stated that the impact of the global processing operations may be significant to the right of individuals, and coordinated decision at the European level is required. Thus, AEPD requested that the issue of ChaGPT and its impacts are discussed in the next Plenary of the EDPB ‘so that harmonized action is implemented within the framework of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).’
