Kevon Swift
Mr Kevon Swift is the Head of Public Safety Affairs at the Latin American and Caribbean Internet Addresses Registry (LACNIC). He has been involved in internet governance processes across the Latin American and Caribbean region, and previously ran LACNIC's internet governance research and mentorship programme. He currently works on cybersecurity policy and cybercrime issues, and leads strategic engagements with law enforcement, public prosecutors, judges, policymakers and the information security community to address cooperation for cybersecurity. He joined the Geneva Internet Platform in 2017 as an Assistant Curator and has been serving as a Knowledge Fellow for the Digital Watch Observatory since 2022. He contributes to cybersecurity and cybercrime topics, including the proceedings of the Ad Hoc Committee on Cybercrime. Kevon holds an MA in International Trade and Languages from the University of Parma, Italy with a postgraduate study in International Relations from the University of Salamanca, Spain; an MA in Contemporary Diplomacy with a specialisation in Internet Governance from the University of Malta; and an LLM in Internet Law and Policy from the University of Strathclyde, UK.
