Industrial cybersecurity provider Dragos listed on ALPHV ransomware gang’s leak site
Industrial cybersecurity firm Dragos faces exposure on the ALPHV ransomware gang’s leak site, raising concerns about a potential data breach. The gang, known for targeting high-profile victims, is among the most active ransomware gangs.
Dragos, a provider of cybersecurity services for industrial sectors, has appeared on the leak site of the ALPHV ransomware gang. The notorious group, also known as BlackCat, typically showcases its latest conquests on their dark web blog.
Although the recent post, made over the weekend, lacks specific details about the breached data, it hints at the potential compromise of the company executives’ personal information. However, ALPHV specified that the information was acquired through a third-party breach, suggesting that Dragos’ internal systems might not have been directly affected by this incident.
Dragos has noted that it is aware of ALPHV’s claim but noted that the gang has not contacted the company. Dragos is also conducting an internal investigation into the incident, but has not found evidence of a compromise of Dragos systems.
