US DoJ files request for Microsoft case to be reheard
The US Department of Justice has petitioned the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in New York for the Microsoft case to be reheard. In July 2016, the District Court ruled that Microsoft cannot be ordered to provide authorities the contents of a user’s emails stored on servers outside the USA.
