PM Modi calls for innovative solutions for e-waste management
India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi invited the country’s Information Technology and Energy sectors to identify and develop innovative ways of handling e-waste with the help of technology. PM Modi also laid emphasis on new initiatives for ‘self-reliance’ through technology by focusing the 2022-2023 budget on emerging sectors such as artificial intelligence, Geospatial systems, drones, space technology, green technology, to name a few.
