Data breach of Russian ISP compromises personal data of 8.7 million customers
The data of 8.7 million customers of the Russian Internet service provider Beeline has been compromised, and now sold and shared online. According to ZDNet, the data contains personal details such as full names, addresses, and mobile and home phone numbers, and includes details on Russian customers who signed up for home broadband connections, before November 2016. The data has been shared online, including on Telegram channels, and resulted from a 2017 breach.
