EPDB approves Spanish data protection authority decision on binding corporate rules

In its Opinion 6/2020 on the draft decision of the Spanish Supervisory Authority regarding the Controller Binding Corporate Rules of Fujikura Automotive Europe Group (FAE Group), the European Data Protection Board (EPDB) published its approval of the Spanish decision. The EPDB indicated that the draft decision contained “appropriate safeguards” and did not undermined when personal data will be transferred to and processed by the group members based in third countries.
