The Online Civil Courage Initiative launched to counter online extremism
The Online Civil Courage Initiative has been launched, combining the efforts of several organisations to ‘combat online extremism and hate speech through better understanding and the ability to respond to the challenges of extremist speech on the Internet’. The partnership consists of the Centre for the Study of Radicalisation and Political Violence, the Amadeu Antonio Foundation, Facebook, and the Institute for Strategic Dialogue, which leads the initiative.
