ITU launches Child Online Protection Guidelines in Africa
The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) launched the 2020 guidelines on Child Online Protection (COP) in Africa. Prior to the launch ITU organised an online training program on the tools in relation to the guidelines for experts in the field of child protection online. The training was conducted in English and French,. The launch of the guidelines in Africa is expected to facilitate its promotion, adaptation and contextualization at national and regional level.
