Nigeria gives telecoms two weeks to register ID on SIM cards
The Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) has given telecom operators until the end of the year to add valid national identification numbers to every SIM card registered in the country. A report by Reuters notes that NCC has suspended sale of new SIM cards pending audit on compliance with the new rule.
