Wikipedia blocked in Myanmar
Netblocks, the internet monitoring NGO, has confirmed that all language editions of Wikipedia have been blocked by the military regime in Myanmar as part of a post-coup internet censorship agenda. The announcement was backed by real-time network data that showed a blackout of the website across all ISPs in the country. Wikipedia also confirmed and corroborated the findings of Netblocks in a tweet where they shared Netblocks network findings and stated stated that ‘all language editions of @Wikipedia have been blocked in #Myanmar’.
